Don’t skip your cool down! As tempting as it is to race out of the gym as soon as your workout is finished, sticking around for an extra few minutes can be super beneficial. 

Some benefits of cooling down after a workout...

Slow heart rate

Slow breathing

Prevent injury

Cool body temperature

Relax muscles

Reduce soreness

Prevent blood pressure drops

How you should be cooling down...

Cool down for around three to ten minutes. If you're lifting, switch over to something else to cool down. Take a walk, outside or on the treadmill, until your breathing rate returns to normal. Finish off your cool down with some stretches
