Traveling or going on a vacation is the perfect opportunity to leave work at home and relax. But, while your work may wait, the gym will not. When you get back to the gym after a decent break you may notice that you’re having a harder time doing the things you once did.

Although your fitness won’t drastically change in a short time, staying active while on vacation will make getting back to the gym at home so much easier.

If you are staying somewhere with access to a gym, make the most out of it and work out as you usually would. Spacing your workouts out a day or two more than usual will give you that break while simultaneously help keep you on track.
If you don’t have access to a gym, stay active in other ways. Go for a run, bike, or hike, or plan to play a sport haven’t played in a while.

The better shape you are in, the easier it is to lose it, so make staying active more than your routine, make it a lifestyle!

All or nothing is an excuse in disguise.
